The Institute for Faith-based Leadership and Philanthropy is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
established by a team of professionals to provide organizational, program and resource
development training and services for needy children and their families that promote and
acknowledge nonprofit excellence within faith-based and grass roots communities.

Outreaches, ministries and businesses within the faith-based and grass root sectors have
proven to be tenacious, compassionate and genuinely concerned about addressing the needs
of children and their families. IFLP believes that strengthening the infrastructure, operations,
resource development and managerial skills of those serving in these organizations and
businesses is a means to increase program outcomes and organizational longevity. This, in
turn, allows the faith and grass roots organizations and other faith-focused stakeholders to
become more viable entities for social change, community preservation and individual
empowerment as they impact the lives of children in need and their families.

To promote excellence in nonprofit management.
To cultivate collaborative efforts among faith- and community-based
organizations and other service providers.
To ensure ethical and accountable program operations with organizations.
To help organizations and businesses identify and/or develop staff expertise
and competencies.
To coordinate philanthropic or grant maker initiatives established by and
benefiting faith- and community based organizations.
To impact and empower children in need and their families by promoting a
healthier lifestyle.
